Their home, a former property of the Noyon lace masters, located just behind Calais?s Grand Théâtre, combines charm and originality.
Nathalie and Laurent will tell you all about the history of Calais through their rooms, which feature historical figures such as Lady Hamilton (theater theme), Louis Blériot (aviation theme), Tom Souville (sea theme) and the Calais lacemakers.
Each room has a double or twin bed, a bathroom with shower and private toilet, and a view of the theater or the house's inner courtyard.
Communal areas such as the veranda and inner courtyard are ideal for relaxing after a day's cycling.
The courtyard is also the perfect place to safely store your bikes. You can also store them (free of charge) in one of the two garages/boxes located 50 m from the house.
In addition, there's a small service room for bike maintenance and professional bike shops nearby.
If you fancy spending an evening with Laurent and Nathalie, don't hesitate to book the table d'hôtes. Chef Laurent will prepare succulent dishes using local produce.
Before you leave, after a good night's sleep, recharge your batteries with a French continental breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh pastries and yoghurt with muesli.
Once you're well rested, you're off for some great cycling on the Côte d'Opale.
